Tape | NPS-JFC-E-022-01 | Length m | 43.30 | Date rec’d | 1968 or later | Quality | Quality generally quite good but music comes across better than voice |
Title | PS Concert | Contents | Recording of live concert. | ||||
Notes | MC is Bill Charlton (voice ident plus called Mr Charlton by Ray Fisher). National anthem indicates this was the end of the concert. Announcer indicates that language lessons at end are part of Radio 3’s Study Session, which ran from October 1967 to September 1969. At one point he gives future date of “Tuesday 16 January”, which indicates the recording (part recorded over by previous track) was made in January 1968 and the concert is therefore potentially the one held later that year and certainly no earlier.
